Reporting requirements and guidelines for BiodivERsA projects

Reporting Requirements and Guidelines

Intermediate Report Template (Annex A)

Final Report Template (Annex B)

The BiodivERsA projects are considered to form part of a coherent international research programme. In order to promote this coherence the BiodivERsA funding partners have opted for a co-ordinated reporting scheme. However, some funding partners will also require additional national reports.

Funded projects are required to report on an annual basis on research progress and financial aspects. A more detailed report will be required at the completion of each project. Project coordinators should also keep the secretariat informed in case of important delays or difficulties in between reports.

Reports on research progress should follow the instructions outlined in this paper. It describes the reporting rationale and requirements. Intermediate and final reporting templates are given in Annexes A and B respectively (separate files).

For financial aspects, funding recipients will be required to report directly to the funding body in their country, according to national requirements.

The language for reporting is English. A translation of the report into the national language may be required by your national funding body. All reports should be written in a style appropriate for a non-technical audience.

For additional specific national requirements, please refer to Annex 1 (final page).
